Back to the old workspace, aka, bedroom. It was nice to have a classroom to work in, but I’m glad to be home.
The bowls-all finished! The glaze is not what I expected though - way too glossy, and I applied it so thick that it’s gobby and candy-like. Next time I’m working high fire though, I think these had to be ^04, which is not my favorite with white clays. I love the patterns though. I’ll take it as a test run, and try, try again.
Lemme just say though, this house is never for want of vessels.
The slip cast bowls drying in my room. I want to find glazes that look just like this process- velveteen and all different shades of gray. This is from almost two months ago now.
